Paul D. Willis

Certified Career Consultant, BA, CECC

Paul D. Willis holds key industry credentials and this past year was the National TORI Award winner for career advancement and technical resume design. He was recently elected as the U.S. State Representative of North Carolina for the PRWRA and holds the nationally recognized titles of Certified Resume Writer (CRW), Certified Federal Resume Writer (CFRW), and Certified Electronic Career Coach (CECC), one of the first issued in North Carolina.

As past President of the Professional Résumé Writers of North Carolina, Mr. Willis consults with professional and executive level candidates on effective career advancement and transition strategies. Mr. Willis is sought out for his expertise at coaching, training, and mentoring individuals through professional, federal, and executive career transition programs, as well as the design of highly individualized career branding and marketing tools.

“An effective career search is the result of a carefully planned strategy…running your search in “crisis management” presents you as a desperate candidate, not as a potential asset for the hiring company” says Mr. Willis. “The I just need a job attitude can destroy your candidacy…learn what they need, what gap are they filling, and what solution do you provide for that need.”

Mr. Willis holds a Bachelors Degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Boston, MA, is a member of the Career Masters Institute (CMI), and the Professional Association of Resume Writers (PARW). Mr. Willis is a Local Licensed Minister with the Nazarene Church and is working on a Master of Divinity.
