Area Business Advisory Council Elects 2007-08
Officers
The Wake Area Business Advisory Council (BAC)
has elected its 2007-08 executive committee. Robin
Mathes of Community Alternatives/RESCARE will
serve as BAC chair, and Kistina Freeman of McLaurin
Parking will serve as chair-elect. Christine Harrington
with the N.C. Division of Services for the Blind
is past chair.
John O'Connor with Career Pro of NC Inc. will
chair the Program Committee. Trina Simpson with
Community Partnerships Inc. will chair the Job
Skills Workshops Committee. Susan Hamlett with
Express Personnel and Mark Parbus with Unlocked
Potential will co-chair the Membership and Marketing
Committee.
The Wake Area Business Advisory Council is a
Wake County Human Services initiative, established
in January 1997 to promote a partnership between
local businesses/employers and employment and
training programs in the Wake County area. For
